Providing Therapeutic Care for CASPA Foster Carers

This training program utilises current research to provide an understanding of trauma, the impacts of trauma on all aspects of life and subsequently the coping mechanisms formed in response to trauma.

You will learn about the following four key areas:

  • What is Trauma?
  • Why does attachment matter?
  • How does a traumatised child act?
  • What are some of the ways we can help?

Improving the lives of at-risk children and families is at the centre of everything we do.
