This year, the Association of Children's Welfare Agencies (ACWA) finally resumed their annual industry awards after a long break. ACWA serves as the leading non-government organization in NSW, representing the interests of community organizations that provide vital services to vulnerable children, young people, and families. These prestigious awards are an integral part of ACWA's annual conference.
Leading up to the awards ceremony, which took place during the conference's Gala Dinner, in Sydney, CASPA Services was privileged to be nominated in two categories. It was a moment of great pride for us when our CEO, Naarah Rodwell, accepted the winning award for Delivering Through Adversity on behalf of our organization for outstanding services to Lismore Community during the floods of 2022. We are truly honoured to be recognized by our peers for the unwavering standards we uphold in delivering essential services and support to the most vulnerable members of our community. This acknowledgement further motivates us to continue our mission and make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it the most.
