Introducing our National Manager, Aboriginal Services & Support

CASPA is excited to introduce Jean Ford, our new National Manager of our Aboriginal Services and Support team.

Jean is a proud Mbabanga Mualgal woman, bringing over 15 years of experience working in leadership and senior leadership positions in the areas of child protection, out-of-home care, and youth crime prevention.

In her new role with CASPA, Jean oversees the delivery of programs to First Nations children and young people to ensure they remain connected to kin, Country, and community.

Joining us in the latter part of last year, Jean hit the ground running and quickly connected with the wider CASPA team, our stakeholders, and the families we support.

Jean's qualifications and certifications as an Indigenous Care Assessor and Family Group Conference Facilitator are great assets to our service.

Jean is in her final year, completing a Bachelor's in Social Welfare, and is committed to ensuring the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People are heard and adequately represented in matters that impact their lives.
