CEO & Company Secretary. Appointed July 2018.
In addition to her parents being carers throughout her childhood, Naarah Rodwell has over 14 years professional experience in the out-of-home care sector. This experience drove her to implement innovative and evidence-based models of care and support at CASPA after becoming the CEO in 2018.
Naarah’s knowledge and approach have accelerated CASPA’s growth, with an expansion of services across the Northern Territory. She has also extended CASPA’s capacity to affect change, particularly in the areas of family preservation and early intervention. Her latest venture, Hammers 4 Hope, is a social enterprise business that provides maintenance and building support to our communities, and funnels its profits back into vital support for vulnerable families.
Naarah is motivated to see better outcomes afforded to the most vulnerable in our communities, and is particularly driven to amplify the voices of vulnerable children and young people.
