Your village gives you the time, support and resources you need to get through it. But what if you don’t have one? CASPA is dedicated to bridging the gap, and providing the village that every family needs to thrive.

When we provide informed, innovative care, we create safety and protection that leads to fewer young people entering care and results in lasting change to the quality of life of young people.

We see families maintained or restored, new opportunities for young people and spaces where children can experience stability, safety and love.

Supported families stay together

At CASPA, we believe every opportunity to stay safely with family should be explored before permanent removal

 

That’s why we offer intensive support for families whose children or young people are experiencing out-of-home care. These services are provided in the home or a therapeutic accommodation such as Alaia’s Place. This support allows families to connect while they work on getting their children safely back home after a period of out-of-home care. CASPA’s qualified team can supervise and support in this environment as required.

CASPA currently has two therapeutic accommodations available on the north coast of NSW, one in Goonellabah and the other in Coffs Harbour.

    Therapeutic family time

    Our bond with our biological family is one of the most important we’ll ever have. Therapeutic family time helps families rebuild trust and connection. Even if a child can’t safely return home, we support families in a safe space to strengthen their bond and sense of belonging.

    In-home support

    Not everyone has experienced safe parenting, which can make providing it challenging. CASPA provides in-home support to help parents learn these skills. From mentoring and respite, to help around the house, we help support families to create a safe, nurturing home.

    Transport

    CASPA has a wide range of transport services available for children, and, if necessary, their families. Our vehicles are serviced regularly, fully insured, and driven by our fully licensed team. We have multiple car seats and vehicle types to suit many different needs.

    Mentoring

    CASPA is committed to helping young people in out-of-home care build the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive as adults. Through our mentoring service, we support them in reaching their goals and growing their independence.
