CASPA Family Supports Casino specialises in early intervention and prevention utilising a strengths based, person-centered, trauma informed approach for parents, children and families.

Our qualified and experienced staff are able to offer counselling, parenting support, advocacy support, domestic and family violence support, information and referrals to other services and more.

Our services are free and by appointment.

Black Box Parenting

The Black Box Parenting Program is an innovative program specifically developed for parents and carers who have experienced a disruption in family life due to loss, family violence or family breakdown.
The program is a great way to get parents thinking about how they interact with their children and how to manage some of the challenges of parenting after experiencing violence or loss.

123 Magic Parenting

A three-session parenting course, designed to provide parents and carers with skills to deal with challenging behaviour. Learn about emotional development in children and strategies to strengthen relationships.

Engaging Adolescents

A three-session parenting course designed to provide parents and carer’s with skills so that they are able to gain a new understanding of teenagers and strategies to help resolve problems. Learn how to connect with your teenager and open lines of communication by better understanding adolescent emotional development.

Bringing Up Great Bubs

Discover the joy of tuning into your baby and young children with mindfulness and gaining greater insight into developmental milestones. Learn to build positive child-parent relationships, reduce parenting stress and explore the joy of parenting.

Bringing Up Great Kids

A four-session program focusing on building positive and nurturing relationships between parents and their children. The program aims to support parents to review and enhance their patterns of communication with their children, to promote more respectful interactions and encourage the development of children’s positive self-identity.
