Give Maisy and kids like her the gift of “just being a kid” by donating today.

Maisy lived with her birth parents until she was seven. She loved them very much but was hungry and scared all the time.  They couldn’t be the parents she needed.

When neighbours noticed that Maisy wasn’t okay, she had to leave her family home. CASPA was able to provide Maisy with a safe and nurturing home as well as support to work through her trauma and sadness.

Maisy wanted to attend an adventure camp with her friends during the school holidays. Not wanting to burden her carers with another request, she pretended she wasn’t allowed to go instead. But that made her feel isolated, left out and different to her friends.

Children deserve to be silly. To be with their peers. To play soccer, go on an adventure or spend an afternoon at the movies. And to have access to the supplies they need to explore their talents and interests.

Kids shouldn’t be burdened with so much when they are so young. Let’s change the narrative.

Your generous donation will allow carers to say yes to things they might not ordinarily be able to afford given the cost of caring, and provide children like Maisy with the essentials, connection and support they need to thrive. Give Maisy and kids like her the gift of “just being a kid” by donating today.
