The CASPA Education Centre supports children and young people who are disengaged or unable to attend mainstream school.

Our story

The CASPA Education team provide specialist education programs for school-aged young people. The team support complex school enrolments, distance education students, students on suspension, and assist school leavers to pursue vocation and training opportunities beyond secondary education.

Our learning centres have classroom facilities and access to computers to assist participants to reengage in an educational program or setting supported by our tertiary level educators trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.

The purpose of the CASPA Education Program is to inspire youth to thrive and we aim to do this by tailoring educational programs to not only meet the needs of the learner but by targeting individual areas of interest.

Our services

Student Engagement Services

The CASPA Education team incorporate project-based learning and life skill development to support students who are disengaged or unable to attend mainstream school settings. Students access the learning centres for daily appointments; times vary based on the needs of the individual.

Trauma & Attachment Training For Schools

This training is designed to provide the skills to understand and meet the needs of children and young people who have experienced complex trauma, by giving attendees a 'toolbox' of trauma-informed strategies.

Work Readiness Program

A tailored school to work transition program to assist young people aged between 15-17
years to further develop skills for employment. The 8 week course covers topics including; job search, applications, cover letters, resume writing, interviewing and workplace health and safety knowledge. Participants have the benefit of also engaging in our on-site Coffee Cart & Café social enterprise to gain hands-on transferable skills, knowledge and experience.

School Holiday Program

CASPA Education facilitates a school holiday program four times throughout the school year split between Primary and Secondary students, encompassing a range of activities, which include art & craft, sport, excursions and field trips. The school holiday program aims to provide young people with positive experiences and recreation activities to
further develop their interpersonal skills.

Seasons For Growth

Seasons for Growth is an innovative, evidence-based change, loss and grief program that draws on the metaphor of the seasons of grief.

CASPA Educators are trained facilitators of this internationally recognised program that
offers children and young people a safe space to come together, and share their experiences of change and loss.

LOVEBiTES Program

LOVEBiTES is a respectful relationship education program for young people aged
between 11 – 17 years. LOVEBiTES aims to provide young people with a safe environment to examine, discuss and explore respectful relationships. Young people are
equipped with the knowledge needed to have respectful relationships, encourage and develop their skills in critical thinking and assist them in being able to problem solve and communicate effectively.

CASPA Educators are trained facilitators of the Nationwide LOVEBiTES Program.
