Bail Accommodation and Support Service

CASPA is currently seeking carers for our Bail Accommodation and Support Service (BASS).

This valuable service seeks to reduce the rate of young people across the Far North Coast of NSW from entering custody by providing accommodation, transport and case support. The program focuses on supporting young people to avoid first time admission to detention and those who remain in custody because of a breakdown of the relationship with their parents or family.

BASS diverts children and young people from Police and Youth Justice by providing them with the community support and the safe home they need.

If you have been considering becoming a carer, or have previously been a carer you could play a pivotal role in the success of this program.

CASPA is currently accepting expressions of interest from compassionate, community-minded people to provide a safe and supportive home for short-stays up to 28 days.
